Modis

A beautifully balanced interior with a strong mix of raw and refined elements. The design carries a lot of sophistication and spatial clarity.

The use of preserved stone arches paired with sleek materials (like glass, velvet chairs, and brass accents) creates a visually rich contrast.
It celebrates the building’s character while embracing a contemporary mood.

The large pendant lights with golden inner linings cast a warm, inviting glow. Their circular shape harmonizes with the arches and softens the geometry of the space.
The muted grays, brass tones, and dark velvet create a sense of understated luxury. It feels elegant but approachable—ideal for an all-day bar.

The Interior

The backlit bar acts as the primary focal point, immediately drawing the eye. The plant in the center arch smartly softens the symmetry and brings a natural, biophilic touch.
Using patterned tiles to define the central axis adds depth and rhythm to the spatial experience. It’s a subtle guide for circulation and orientation.

The design has a very clear flow from the entrance to the bar area. Table spacing allows comfortable movement without overcrowding, which supports both staff efficiency and customer comfort. The layout divides the space into visual “pockets” without physical barriers. This flexibility is ideal for an all-day bar concept where mood shifts throughout the day. The illuminated bar shelving and indirect lighting above the arches add dimensionality. The material choices (stone, metal, velvet) suggest a good balance between durability and comfort, ideal for high-traffic use.
